On July 27th 2024, we received the visit of the journalist Jorge Zorraquin from Heraldo de Aragón, echoing the rapid growth that Iberia Compositech has had in a very short time, in addition to the large investments made, the growth of the workforce and the upcoming opening of the new facilities.
In the interview with Víctor Sanz, CEO of Iberia Compositech, he explains the significant investment of 800,000 euros. In the article we read that Iberia Compositech specialises in the manufacture of fibreglass and carbon fibre parts for sectors such as luxury automotive, aeronautics, nautical and industrial, where the company has tripled its workforce in just over two years, from eight employees to 28, with plans to reach 32 by the end of 2024.
With the aim of taking on new projects and more demanding orders, Iberia Compositech has expanded its facilities in the La Charluca industrial estate, doubling its surface area. They have also incorporated state-of-the-art machinery, such as a machining line and a paint booth, to improve their production capacity and the quality of their products.
The company has positioned itself as a supplier in a variety of sectors, from sports automotive to aerospace, supplying components for drones, weaponry and machine structures. In an effort to broaden its reach, they are working on obtaining certifications to collaborate with major aerospace companies by 2025.
However, Iberia Compositech faces challenges such as the need for more space to organise its internal distribution and store finished product and raw materials. They are also looking for solutions to the shortage of specialised personnel, having implemented internal training programmes to fill this gap.
The company’s CEO, Víctor Sanz, highlights the stability of the workforce and the low turnover of employees as strengths that generate confidence in customers. He acknowledges the support of the City Council and points out the importance of attracting external talent to continue growing. Despite the challenges, Iberia Compositech remains committed to a promising future and to consolidate its position as a leader in its sector.
