Manufacturing carbon fiber parts requires specialized technologies and methods to achieve high quality and performance results. We explore some of these innovative techniques used in the creation of these pieces.

Computer Aided Design (CAD) and simulation:

Before starting the manufacturing process, it is essential to have a precise design of the desired part. The use of computer-aided design (CAD) software allows engineers to create three-dimensional models that guide the manufacturing process. In addition, finite element simulations (FEA) allow the structural behavior of the part to be predicted before production, which helps to optimize the design and avoid possible failures.

In our company, we have an incredible design and modeling program called CATIA!

CATIA is a powerful computer-aided design (CAD) tool that allows us to create three-dimensional designs and high-precision digital models. With its wide range of features and powerful capabilities, it provides us with the tools necessary to drive innovation and improve our design processes.

In addition, it is highly versatile and compatible with different engineering disciplines, allowing us to work on a wide range of projects. Whether in the design of mechanical parts, complex surfaces or even in the design of organic geometries, it adapts to our needs and helps us achieve high-quality results.

Another great strength of CATIA is its 3DEXPERIENCE Lab platform. An efficient solution for online storage, traceability of designs and their maturity states. All of this allows us to provide our clients with a DFM (Design For Manufacturing) approach from phase 0 of their projects, maximizing the productivity and efficiency of the entire process as a whole.
